New Website Legal Requirements

As of April 1st 2007, there will be new disclosure requirements for companies on their websites and in all electronic communications. All businesses will have to ensure that their websites and email signatures are compliant with these new requirements, see the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement website for details, www.odce.ie. All websites that collect data (e.g. via a form) must now by law display their privacy policy. If you have your website with us and it currently doesn't display your privacy policy, please contact us.

We've put together a sample privacy policy if you need one. Click here to send us a request and we'll email you a copy. You can also check out our website to get some idea of what's required.
